Spotted!

Long time since a posting and spotting someone. Toooooooo busy at work, overworked! Anyways, Spotted 9W2OMA's jelopy at Tropicana City Mall, near the main entrance. Been a while since i have met him. Also spotted 9W2BBS, while driving back home that same night.

Homopolar motor

The battery was placed upside down. The magnet is at the bottom. The copper wire was exposed at the contact point. Go to dealextreme.com to get good RE magnets.

Update on latest project.

Looks over sized.
Winding supposed to be 20" long but now 27".

Drilled 3, 1mm holes and threaded ends of the wire to get tension on the windings.

The remaining wire comes out from then inner side of the tube.
